From PHYS3310 you have a lot of tools at your disposal: Gauss law, direct integration of E or V, the method of images, and (sums of) solutions of Laplaces equation. For each region (r < a, a < r < b and r > b) and for each of these tools mentioned above, discuss whether the tool could be used to find E and V, with the given information and any aspect of the solutions you know to be true from symmetry or properties of conductors.
