4. The slider A of mass M can freely slide along an inclined collar. The slider is attached to a rope which passes over a pulley, with a force of 500 N being applied at the other end of the figure. The slider is friction between the slider and the collar (a) Assume that the pulley is massless and friction- 30° less. Find the magnitude of the resultant force on the pulley due to the rope (b) Draw the free body diagram of the slider and 500 N indicate all the forces that act on the slider (c)Find the mass of the slider M (d) What is the magnitude of the force of contact 45° exerted on the slider, by the collar.
