Question: 5 2 positions of flowers on the stems of garden...
Question details
5.
(2) Positions of flowers on the stems of garden pea are controlled
by two alleles of a particular locus. If flowers grow in the axils
they carry a dominant (T) allele and if they are terminal they
carry two recessive (t) alleles. Instead, coloured flowers are
determined by either a dominant (C) allele or are white and
determined by a recessive (c) allele. Suppose that a dihybrid plant
with coloured flowers in axils is crossed to a pure breeding plant
with the same phenotype. What are the genotypic and phenotypic
ratios that you would expect in the F1 plants?
