Question: 7 the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow a quotdeleted...

Question details

7. The air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow (a deleted scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail) To settle their feud, King Arthur and the Bridge Keeper enlisted the help of the renowned enchanter, Tim, to determine the flight velocity of swallows. Two specimens, one of African origin, the other European, were acquired and examined. After some careful measurements, Tim came up with the following motion equations (velocity v given in miles/hour) describing their flight:
African swallow: European swallow: v=1587-Sv v = 1250-D. (a) Without solving the 2 equations, determine the maximum velocity (i.e. its limiting velocity) for each species. (b) Solve the European swallows equation to find its velocity as a function of time. Give your answer in the explicit form
