A 250 V long compounded dc motor has an internal resistance including the series winding of 0.08. These are 1000 turns in the shunt field and 5 turns in the series field per-pole. The approximated magnetizetion characteristic at 1200 rpm is Ea=150+0.02Ft where Ft is the total ampere-turn per-pole. The motor is supplied with 250V dc and drivers a load of constant torque. All lossles and armature reaction are neglacted.

a)The motor is running at 1200 rpm on no-load. What is the shınt field resistance

b)If the motor is cumulatively compounded, find the speed regulation the load torque and the efficiency when the armature current is 100 A.
