A connecting rod(You choose material) is to support a 1150lb load, the pins are 3.75" apart from each other, where the wrist-pin is a diameter of 0.45" and the bottom pin is a diameter of 0.25". What is the lightest connecting rod you may come up with, i.e change geometry or material. It needs to still hold the 1150lb load, and step by step with the reasoning of your choice. Also calculate a reasonable Factor of Safety as well. Let's say the Cross-Sectional Area is a base of 0.125" and a height of 0.225". Again you can change geometry. Make valid reasons for your decision.
