Question: a motorboat is headed to casablanca morocco from charleston sc...

Question details

A motorboat is headed to Casablanca, Morocco from Charleston, SC, and motors due East at 30 mph. At the time of the voyage the Atlantic ocean “jetstream current” was a constant 45 mph heading north across the entire Atlantic Ocean (it’s impossible that the current would be the entire width of the ocean!, but just image that for the time being). If the captain keeps his heading as due East the entire voyage, where will he likely end up, or at least come close to? Hint: Remember that velocity is a vector, just like force.
