A nickel has a diameter of 2.12 cm and a thickness of 1.95 mm, a dime has a diameter of 1.79 cm and a thickness of 1.35 mm and a half dollar has a diameter of 3.06 cm and a thickness of 2.15 mm. On a table there is a stack of 65 nickels, a separate stack of 107 dimes and a third stack of 89 half dollars. (a) What is the total volume of the three stacks of coins in m3? (b) How many packages of $0.79 M&M's can be purchased with the three stacks of coins? The coins are cylinders and the volume of a cylinder is πr2h where r is the radius and h is the thickness.
