Due to viscous effects the velocity measured at the trailing edge of the plate indicates that the x-component of the velocity (above the plate) varies as š‘¢= š‘ˆāˆž(š‘¦/š›æ)^(1/7) Below the plate, the velocity is a mirror of this profile. Along the control surface shown in the figure below the pressure is uniform. The height of the control surface from the plate is related the length of the plate by Ī“=0.01c. Find the drag coefficient per unit span?
