A two-stage steam turbine with interstage heating (see Figure 7.27). The data is provided in the sketch. Assuming that the diameter of the pipe in the interstage heater is constant and that the expansions in the two stages of the turbine are adiabatic and reversible, calculate: a) the power that the turbine can provide; b) the rate of heat exchange in the interstage heater.
