Question: an electron of charge 161019 moves in an electric potential...
An electron of charge 1.6×10^-19 moves in an electric
potential given by: V(x, y, z)= 3xy^2 + yz^3 -2xz^2 + 16, where V
is in volts and x, y, z are in meters.
1) speed of the electron at (1, 1, -1) if it was moving at 10 m/s at the origin.
2) Magnitude and direction of the electric field at (-1, -1, 1) in unit vector notation.
3) Dtermine the expression for |FE| of the electron at (-1, -1, 1)
note: for the third part of the question, |FE| means magnitude of the electric force, and the vector sign on top.
PLEASE I beg of you, show all the steps and use appropriate notations! I really wish to understand this stuff. Thank you in advance.
