Question: andnbsp line 1 is defined by slope m andminus14 and...

Question details

Line 1 is defined by slope m = 14 and y-intercept (0,3) i.e. c = 3.

Line 2 passes through the points (3, 4) and (1, 2).

  1. (a)  Find the equations for both lines, showing all working.

  2. (b)  On the same set of axes, draw the two lines. Be sure to label the two lines as well as indicate both their x- and y-intercepts.

  3. (c)  Find the exact coordinates of the point where the lines intersect.
