Question: andnbspandnbspandnbspcan everyone explainandnbsp 1 to me as i understand the...

Question details

""The nth logarithmic term is positive for all n but, as shown above, less than n−2.

It follows from the comparison test that the series is (absolutely) convergent""

can everyone explain  (1) to me as i dont understand the logic behind the comparison test

how did the author use comparison test in this case?

since there are sum of convergent series here,,,,the final result might not be convergent...

(sum n 1/n^2 -1/2n^4 ...

= sum 1/n^2 - sum 1/2n^4 +.....)  ( there are many convegent  sum 1/Kp n^p  where p=2,4...)

and also why (2) is true

thank you
