Axial Loading-Normal and Shear Stress: A rod AD is fixed at D and pulled with a force P at end A. In addition, there are axial forces acting on the rod through collars at B and C. Calculate the normal stresses along x-axis at points E, F and G. Also find normal stresses along x-axis and shear stresses along y at the same points.
