Question: be able to identify the independent and dependent variable in...

Question details

Be able to identify the independent and dependent variable in a within-subjects design, and/or when included as part of a mixed-design

I have a good idea of what a within-subjects design is as it is a design where the participant experiences all levels that are being tested, but how do we identify the IV and DV that makes it different from other types of designs?
