(a) Find the ratio of the maximum velocity, which occurs at the free surface where z = the depth, yo, to the mean velocity for a very wide channel. (b) Calculate the values of the kinetic energy correction coefficient a and the momentum flux correction coefficient B for a very wide channel.
Here is the problem I told you I would post. Please do problem 1.10 (b) and find the kinetic energy correction factor, we did the momentum correction factor in class. It should be a very similar process
