I do believe that this reaction will follow Hoffmann rule, that is the hydrogen will be attracted to the highest substituted carbon. Thus, the double bond should be broken into a single bond. What about iodine, doesn't it have to be in the major product as well?
My instructor's answer states that the answer is B. please help.
