Question: hi there im good with redefining the coordinates and drawing...

Hi there, I'm good with redefining the coordinates and drawing the graph I think, but just nore sure how they get the new range. What even is the range of the original graph? Is the domain [-12, 15)?

Am thinking the domain doesn't change for the part a) and b) but their answer for the Range for part a) is (-12,10] and for part b) it's (-2.4, 2] and I'm just wondering how they get those numbers?
