a.     Plot graphs of output voltage, Vo against the input voltage, Vi for the zener diode on a graph paper.  Findand mark the knee point for the diode on the graph.

 

b.    Describe your observation based on the plotted Vo-Vi graph in ii (a).

 

c.     If the same experiment was repeated using a 10.0 V Zener Diode, explain the expected resulting Vo-Vicharacteristic. Sketch the expected Vo-Vi graph.

Build the circuit with the LED as shown below. 

 

1. Connect the circuit as shown above.

2. Vary the input voltage of the DC power supply and measure the voltage across the LED. and the resistor.

4. Note the readings in the table provided below.
