Motivation has an impact on people’s ability to learn and the
effectiveness of training. People can hold intrinsic motivation
where their desire to learn stems from their interest in the
material or wanting to accomplish a goal, or they could hold
extrinsic motivation relating to external factors, such as pay or
another reward or opportunity. What are some steps that you, as a
trainer or manager, can take to ensure that your employees’
training motivation is high? Include examples from your own
experience, and apply information from the text in your response.
