(b) Define your frame of reference and write down the stress and strain tensors for each condition (label all nonzero components). (c) Under plane stress condition, calculate all the nonzero components of the strain tensor using the Hookes law. Use E for Youngs modulus and v for Poissons ratio. (d) Show that the Hookes law results you derived from part (c) are also applicable under plane strain condition if you substitute v by vand E by 1-V 1-v
