A jet of water is initially 10 cm in diameter and when directed vertically upwards it reaches a maximum height of 18 m. By taking the assumption that the jet of water remains circular, determine the rate of water flowing, in both mass and volumetric basis, and the diameter of the jet at a height of 10 m.
