The tube is thin-walled, 1.4 cm inner diameter and length per pass is 5 m. Water flows at a rate of 0.2 kg/s whereas There is one shell pass and 8 tube passes in the HX and the overall heat transfer coefficient is 310 W/m2 K. the oil flows at a rate of 0.3 kg/s. Specific heat of water is 4180 J/kg K, and that of oil is 2130 J/kg K. Determine the: a. Outlet temperature of oil and water, and b. Rate of heat transfer in the heat exchanger.
