Suppose that a harmonic force is applied to the system, ie. F(t) -Fosin(ut) for cases when cdrag << k, m, it can be shown that the particular solution of the system approximates a harmonic finction: where X is the amplitude of the response. Find an expression for the dissipated energy (per cycle) in terms of the parameters: X, w, and cdrag.
