Problem 7: The slider P can be slid inwards by means of the string S as the bar OA. The bar OA rotates about the pivot point O. The angular position of the bar is given by θ-0.4 + 0.12t+ 0.06t, where θ is in radians and t is in seconds. Initially the slider was at r 0.8 m, then someone started to pull the thread with a constant acceleration of 0.05 m/s Determine and sketch the velocity and acceleration of the slider at time t 2 s. Also find the angles α and β which the velocity and acceleration vectors make with respect to the positive direction of the X-axis.
