Pumping stations along the pipeline will be capable of boosting the oil pressure, and each pumping sta provide a pressure increase of 600 psi. The pipe will be made of commercial steel. Find the number of pumping stations required for each of the following sizes of schedule 30 commercial steel pipe: (a) 24-nom, (b) 30-nom, and 36-nom. Use the following for the schedule 30 commercial steel pipes: The equivalent roughness is ε-0.00015 ft . . The inside diameter of 24-nom pipe is 1.9063 ft The inside diameter of 30-nom pipe is 2.3958 ft The inside diameter of 36-nom pipe is 2.8958 ft
