Question: reconstruct rachels argument against the divine command theory make sure...

Question details

Reconstruct Rachels' argument against the Divine Command Theory.  Make sure your essay  is divided into paragraphs where needed and that your writing, including your spelling, grammar, and punctuation is up to par.  You may begin by stating the Divine Command Theory and Socrates' question.  Explain the two options opened as answers to Socrates' question.  Rachels concludes his argument by saying that the theory is untenable (p. 55).  Explain then in your own words why Rachels rejects the notion that "right conduct is right because God commands it" (p. 52), and the problem in Rachels's view in supposing that "God commands us to do certain things because they are right."  Feel free to criticize Rachels' argument.
