            (1) Analyze a simple adiabatic gas compressor only, not an entire combustion turbine system, assuming the working fluid is air. The input to the compressor is 30 megawatts (MWe). The inlet temperature is 25 °C. The pressure ratio is 29, and the inlet pressure is 1 bar. The overall efficiency is 90 %. Ambient conditions are 25 C and 1 bar. Do this calculation three ways.

(a)          By manual calculations, assuming the air is an ideal gas with k = 1.4 and constant specific heat find the reversible and actual work per unit mass and the required mass flow rate. See item (f) to compare with EES solution. Complete the following table:
