5. Gaseous hydrogen at 30°C and 10 bar is stored in a small spherical tank with steel walls 4 mm thick. The inner diameter of the tank is 100 mm. The molar concentration of hydrogen in the steel tank is 1.5 kmol/m3 at the inner surface (in contact with hydrogen) and is negligible at the outer surface. The diffusivity of hydrogen in the steel is 0.3 x 10-12 m2/s. What is the rate of loss of hydrogen through the tank wall?
