1. A shower requires 10 gallons of hot water and lasts 10 minutes. This water comes from an on- demand hot water heater which can be viewed as a shell and tube heat exchanger operating at steady state. The water is incompressible with inlet and outlet temperatures of 20 Cand 50 C, respectively. If the outlet temperature of the reaction products is 150 Cand there is 10% excess air present, find the mass flow rate of the methane used a2 bl 2. For the previous problem, find the mass of Co2 produced during one shower.This problem is already given engouh information. we do not need other information to solve.
