あの vs あれ
I'm trying to learn how to use the object reference words この、その、あの ＆ これ、それ、あれ correctly along with だれ ＆ どこ.
I know that the -れ form is for this thing and the -の form is for this (noun). What I'm trying to grasp is the difference when combining the with the だ/ど forms.
To say "Whose watch is this" is これは だれの とけいですか。Couldn't it also be このとけいは だれのですか。?
If so, what's the difference? I assume they feel different to a Japanese speaker; Is that so?
